Blessings to you brothers and sisters in Christ. I truly hope everyone is staying safe and well enjoying the blessings from the Lord. I would like to just keep you updated on a few things as we are approaching the summer months and as we move forward in the midst of this pandemic here at TSBC. We are excited to continue with our worship service every Sunday with Sunday School at 9:15 am and morning worship at 11 am and we are looking forward to seeing you soon for worship service. As you all know there have been some seating changes and that we have been permitted to increase our numbers for worship service. As things around us are lifting we want you to know that we are continuing with temperature checks and the wearing of masks to enter and during service until further notice. I do understand that many feel since they have received vaccination that there is no need for a mask but with new variants still lingering with no known deadline of this virus ending we must continue to practice and provide a safe environment for worship as possible we also want to assure you that the building is being cleaned, sprayed and sanitized frequently for your safety. I do understand that some of our family may still feel uncomfortable returning we want you to know we will still have drive-thru communion every first Sunday from 2 pm to 3 pm, we ask that you will continue to take part in communion with us also feel free to leave your tithes, offering or any contributions off at this time as well.

Church news: We are excited to announce our virtual Sunday School for our youth has started. If you have youth that has not received their information please contact the office and Sister Kiesha will forward information to our Christian Education department. Also starting April 11, 2021, we will resume our new membership classes at 9:15 am here at the church in our Goss, Owen, Morrison, Flournoy fellowship hall.

Communications: Our deacons and church secretary are trying to keep in touch with their family members and make sure all are getting out to all members as much as possible but we need your support in making this run smoothly. We are asking if your information has changed please call the office and give all updated information to the secretary so that it can forward it to them, also if you have any health condition or information to share or in need of prayer please reach out to your family deacon and they will accommodate your needs to the best of their ability also they will pass the information on to me. Also please feel free to contact me via email revanthonyg@gmail.com or phone at 815-914-3927.

Meeting: Mark your calendars April 24, 2021, @ 2:30 will be our annual church meeting again this will be here at the church we ask that you will put this on your calendar and plan to attend so that we can give information on the health of True Spirit and further goals and plans for this year.

In closing, I continue to pray that everyone will remain safe and prayerful for everything that is going on around us and that we continue to have faith in the lord. As we move forward remember our God will see us through it all. God bless and see you all soon.

        Your Servant Leader

                Hello, Sunday School parents!

The Sunday School staff and teachers are excited to announce that we will soon be reviving youth classes in a virtual format. We are preparing to meet once again with all our young people by providing them with lessons to take home and then connect with them once a week, much like the Adult classes. The lessons will cover the same content that the adults are studying. This will be a great opportunity for you to study and discuss as a family. We welcome all new members and families. Feel free to contact Sis Patterson at patteruth@msn.com with your children’s names and agesAdditional information is coming, but we want you to expect to hear from your child/children’s Sunday School teacher very soon.

We have truly missed our children and we’re looking forward to seeing them again. God bless you and your family.
