• Please pray.

To my church family - Please pray for my mother and my family as we deal with my mother: She is 91 and she recently fell and has a hairline fracture in her pelvis bone. In the past several days, our family has had to deal with her hospital stay, and now she is in a rehab center for 20 days, although the hospital thought she was fine to go home. She is an extremely difficult patient, and has a very strong dependency on opioids which causes very erratic behavior. Please pray for the Lord to calm her and for the Lord to give the rest of us the patience and strength to deal with her while she is in the rehab facility. Also please pray for good outcome for my upcoming surgery on October 19; I am getting my right hip replaced, and am very optimistic! As always my #1 prayer is that the Lord continue to bless and protect my family and friends, and that my children would ask God into their hearts. I am also grateful to the Lord for his faithfulness and grace.
    1. Gracious and Loving Lord, I ask prayers for Deb and all her needs. Guide her in the care of her mom and help her to make the right decisions for her care. I pray that mom will find peace and comfort in the Lord. Be with Deb as she approaches her own hip surgery; guide the doctors to do what is right for her. And may Deb's children find their way to you Lord as you seek them out. Help them to connect with our church so they might grow in faith. We ask all this in the name of the risen Lord who loves us so much. Amen.
    2. Prayers for you and your family are forthcoming.
    3. Debbie, prayers for your mom and family. It is very difficult to watch your loved one in pain! Also prayers for your hip surgery! I have no doubt you will be much happier once that is done! Also prayers for Kevin during your rehab! :-)
