Trunk or Treat
On Friday October 29th Valley will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event in the Pacific Way Campus parking lot. This is an opportunity for us as a church to provide a fun and safe trick or treating experience for the community, and an opportunity for you to invite neighbors and friends to come and experience Valley.
The event will officially be open to the public at 7PM that Friday and will run for 90 minutes.
There are a few ways to participate. The first is that you can sign up to decorate your car for event and be there that night to pass out candy. For example, I Andrew, will be decorating my car to be like the Ecto-1 from the Ghostbusters.
The second option is you can simply help provide candy to be passed out that night. Starting the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd we will have candy drop off bins at each campus. If you want to contribute candy, you can drop them off in any of the bins.
So if you'd like to sign up, RSVP here on faithlife! Or let us know with a connection card!
Not sure what a Trunk or Treat is?
The premise is simple: A bunch of people band together (typically in a school or church parking lot), deck out their cars and car trunks with Halloween decorations, and let kids meander from car to car, collecting candy at each stop.
