- On the whole, this was a good orientation to some of the features in Logos. I'm a complete newbie and it taught me about prioritization, tags, notes, bibliographies, and all kinds of features. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the segments are outdated. The videos were all filmed on an earlier version of Logos, so it took me a while to find some of the same features in my version of Logos. The section on "groups" is completely outdated (the button doesn't even appear in my version and most of the Logos groups I've checked out are dead; few members and no posts from anyone in years). Dr. Ward was a good teacher and spoke clearly, but some of the sections are older and clearly not narrated by him. I also believe that this course bundle should be openly free to all Logos users, or at least included with base package purchases.
- Can I ask you what version of Logos do you use? Logos 8, 9, 10? This could really be helpful to me but I run on Logos 10 so I'm wondering if this course will be too outdated. I also agree with you that this course should be free to its users. Thank you.
- Hey Rocky, I went through the course with Logos 9. I haven't upgraded to 10 yet or checked to see if this course was updated for Logos 10. I'd try calling a Faithlife representative and asking if you can have the course. With as much money as most of us drop on these programs, they really should give us training for free.
