- The Spirit of Jesus Unleashed on the Church Acts of the Early Christians in a Changing Culture by Ron Clark The Spirit of Jesus Unleashed on the Church is the third book in a series concerning the restoration of Jesus' people in a world where the marginalized classes longed for reconciliation to God. After Jesus' ascension the early Christians fulfilled Luke's epic theme of restoration in their new empire, inclusion of outcasts, and endurance during the resistance. As Jesus journeyed to Jerusalem, so Paul and the mission of God followed the journey to the capital of the Roman world. God's people today are likewise empowered by the Spirit to boldly live their mission for Jesus through love, compassion, and endurance in cultures that marginalize those who need God's reconciliation. The Spirit of Jesus Unleashed on the Church: Acts of the Early Christians in a Changing CultureThe Spirit of Jesus Unleashed on the Church is the third book in a series concerning the restoration of Jesus' people in a world where the marginalized classes longed for reconciliation to God. Walt Bernard — EditedMany want to become detached from this world's system that is rapidly deteriorating ; and in turn draw closer to God their eternal hope.
- See thing from God’s perspective. God's Word commands us- “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”- (Romans 12:2) - The world is constantly trying to push us into its molds and patterns. - The pressure to conform is an ever-present pressure in our lives. - But we are called to live a different and a God-centered life. - In order for us to live like this, our minds need to be constantly renewed. May this be your prayer- Heavenly Father, I pray that You will come and transform and change me so that I will be renewed in my mind and in the way I think and believe. Help me not just to give in to conformation, but may I be renewed in my thinking so that I can see things from Your perspective. In Jesus' Amen. May you be blessed by all that our Lord Jesus is doing in and through you for His glory, Walt <*))>< “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,”- (Titus 2:13)
