    The Inarticulate Babbler

We are to put aside the things of an inarticulate babbler, 1 Corinthians 13:11
    1 Corinthians 13:11 NKJV
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Those who are inarticulate babblers are functioning from the flesh not the spirit, 1 Corinthians 3:1
    1 Corinthians 3:1 NKJV
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
An inarticulate babbler is tossed around by every wind of teaching, Ephesians 4:14
    Ephesians 4:14 NKJV
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
An inarticulate babbler can only partake of the milk of the Word, Hebrews 5:13
    Hebrews 5:13 NKJV
For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
An inarticulate babbler is under law, Galatians 4:1
    Galatians 4:1 NKJV
Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all,
An inarticulate babbler is bound to the elementary principles of the world system, Galatians 4:3
    Galatians 4:3 NKJV
Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
When we get out of line we are child-trained
When we are not treating others as equal within the body, 1 Corinthians 11:32
    1 Corinthians 11:32 NKJV
But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Only those who are sons are child-trained, Hebrews 12:7-10
    Hebrews 12:7–10 NKJV
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.

    The Christ

    A New Creation, 2 Corinthians 5:17
    2 Corinthians 5:17
Wherefore, since someone is in Christ, a new creation, the archaic things have passed away, behold all things have become new
Christ is the Head and the Church is the Body, Ephesians 1:22-23
    Ephesians 1:22–23 NKJV
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
God Created a New Man out from the Two, Ephesians 2:15
    Ephesians 2:15 NKJV
having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
The Need for a New Man
    The Corruption from Adam
Adam passed His Sin to His Offspring, Romans 5:12
    Romans 5:12
Because of this, just as through one man the sin entered into the world, and the death through the sin, thus also the death passed onto all humans, on the basis that all sinned
We are in the likeness and image of Adam, Genesis 5:3
    Genesis 5:3 NKJV
And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
We are subject to physical death because of Adam’s sin, Romans 5:13-14
    Romans 5:13–14 (NKJV)
For until law, sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed, being no law. But the death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those not sinning upon the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is a type of the one about to come.
We are born spiritually dead (separated from God) because of Adam’s trespass, Romans 5:15
    Romans 5:15
But not as the trespass, thus also is the gracious gift. For since by the trespass of the one [man] the many died, how much more the grace from God and the gift by grace by the one man Jesus Christ abounds unto the many.
Understanding the two deaths in Romans
    Death from Sin
Sin is Lawlessness, 1 John 3:4
    1 John 3:4 NKJV
Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Sin is always exterior to the body, 1 Corinthians 6:18
    1 Corinthians 6:18 NKJV
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Sin produces physical death, Romans 5:14
    Romans 5:14
But the death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those not sinning upon the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is a type of the one about to come.
    Death from a Trespass
The trespass brought death, Romans 5:15
    Romans 5:15 NKJV
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
Trespass happens within the mind before a sin, Ephesians 2:1
    Ephesians 2:1 NKJV
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
The Processes of Sin, James 1:14-15
    James 1:14–15 NKJV
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Trespass - the conception of a desire to do wrong
Sin - the birth of the desire to do wrong
The Life from Christ, 1 Corinthians 15:45
    1 Corinthians 15:45 NKJV
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
His Physical death on the cross paid for our sin, Hebrews 9:26
    Hebrews 9:26 NKJV
He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
Physical death from sins is countered by the gift of righteousness, Romans 5:17
    Romans 5:17
For since in the trespass of the one [man] the death reigned through the one [man], by how much more the ones receiving the abundance of the grace and the gift of righteousness in life will reign through the one Jesus Christ.
His spiritual death on the cross paid for our trespass, Luke 23:44
    Luke 23:44 NKJV
Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
Spiritual death from a trespass is countered by the gracious gift, Romans 6:23
    Romans 6:23
For the wages of the sin [nature] are death, but the gracious gift from God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    Humans are not individual creations
    God created Adam, Genesis 2:7
    Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)
And the Lord God formed Adam from dust from the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives; and Adam became a living soul.
God built Eve from his side, Genesis 2:22
    Genesis 2:22 (NKJV)
And Jehovah God built the side which he took from Adam into a woman and brought her unto Adam.
We are in the likeness and image of Adam, Genesis 5:3
    Genesis 5:3 NKJV
And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
We have to have a head
The head impacts the entire body
Adam became corrupt and passed that down to all his children
Christ was righteous and raised from the dead, passing down life.
    Our Relationship With God Changes
We are now born again, from above
We are washed from our sins
    The Godhead indwells us
    God created a new man
    The old man was corrupt
    The new man is righteous
