Overview
Reflecting on the Word: Video Devotionals (Year A) consists of forty-seven video devotionals from top biblical and theological scholars. The passages are keyed to seasons of the church year, allowing you to work through the reflections in sequence or in any order you prefer. Each segment includes a Scripture passage read aloud followed by a reflection. Questions at the end of each reflection allow you to respond to the material.

I like this a lot and it is well worth the investment. I feel that the videos could do with a little text around the video's to lead me through them.It has the feeling of a lot of separate (although related) videos at the moment but with minimum effort they could be molded into a whole. Well worth the money though and they seem great for developing a personal understanding of/with God so thanks.

Question: Is this fresh material unique to this Mobile Ed course, or are the videos cobbled together from other courses?

These reflections are a varied and useful set of reflections on the selected lectionary passage. They often are not reflective of the calendar year. Ordinary Time i.e. the period that follows Christ's ministry is omitted. This resource stands on its own ... the section on Mobile Ed above re: required resources is safely ignored. Recommended.
