H. A. Birks presents a character study of Peter as an example for our own lives, and intends for us to understand Peter more from learning about his conflicts, struggles, hopes, and fears. Birks also includes an introduction where he discusses the problems people come across with reading their Bibles and the benefits of reading it regularly.
