Williams Woods Smyth originally approved greatly of Henry Drummond’s Natural Law in the Spiritual World, but eventually felt compelled to publish an examination of it that he felt corrected some areas of “misdirection,” where he believed Drummond had overstepped the bounds of biblical truth.
