Overview

Philippians: A Video Study features author and professor Lynn Cohick teaching through the book of Philippians in 16 engaging and challenging lessons. Based on Cohick’s Philippians commentary in The Story of God Bible Commentary series, lessons tackle the historical distance between the New Testament and contemporary culture. Cohick offers a clear and compelling introduction to the entire book of Philippians, guiding viewers in creatively and faithfully living out the book’s message in today’s context. Using a story-centric approach, these lessons are ideal for formal and informal students alike, and for anyone who wants to better understand Philippians today.

Philippians: A Video Study is part of The Zondervan Beyond the Basics Series, which is dedicated to bringing expert teaching from world’s best biblical scholars and theologians directly to interested learners. Philippians: A Video Study views Scripture as God’s Story, with the book itself examined in its canonical and historical setting, in order to foster discernment in living God’s Story faithfully and creatively with and for the church in the twenty-first century.
