Digital Logos Edition
One of the most important Lutheran theologians of the nineteenth century, Milton Valentine’s works were studied and taught in seminaries across the country. The Milton Valentine Theological Studies Collection contains his two-volume Christian Theology, a complete and clear systematic theology from a Lutheran framework. It covers the nature and attributes of God, the incarnation, the Trinity, man’s state of sin, the sacraments, death and the last things, and much more. Natural Theology is Valentine’s in-depth examination of the existence and character of God. And Theoretical Ethics provides the fundamentals for understanding a Christian ethical framework, and what that framework means for believers.
In the Logos Bible Software edition, all Scripture passages in the Milton Valentine Theological Studies Collection are tagged to appear on mouseover. For scholarly work or personal Bible study, this makes these resources more powerful and easier to access than ever before. Perform powerful searches by topic or Scripture reference—finding, for example, every mention of “grace” or “Acts 4:33.”
