Spencer Cecil Carpenter (1877–1959) was an Anglican priest and author. A professor of theology at Queen’s College and dean of Exeter in the Church of England for 10 years, Carpenter also authored numerous works, including The Church and Politics, Faith in Time of War, and Eighteenth Century Church and People.
