Digital Logos Edition
An important supplementary collection, Syriac Miscellanies fills in critical historical and theological gaps in our knowledge about the first two general church councils and presents other details about the classical world. It also provides reference—and therefore independent confirmation—to the works and lives of many prominent authors and other figures, both Christian and pagan. In addition to these texts’ historical and theological significance, modern readers will discover how ancient Christians wrestled with difficult questions, and gain insights into how the early church resolved disputes.
With the Logos editions, this valuable volume is enhanced by amazing functionality and features. Scripture and ancient-text citations link directly to English translations and original-language texts, and important terms link to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of other resources in your digital library.
