Biblical Christology: A Study in Lutheran Dogmatics contains that complete text of the John Schaller classic by the same title. The 1919 book is considered by many to be a brilliant exposition of the heart of Christian faith by one of the masters. Features five exhaustive indexes and a reprint from Quartalschrift (1920) of what was to have been the next portion of Schaller's English Dogmatics.
John Schaller served as president of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary from 1908 –1920. He was enthusiastic about Christian education and created a scholarship at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary to reflect this passion. Schaller died in 1920 when he contracted Influenza while visiting a stricken seminary student.
