The Kind of Faith that Pleases Him - Part 2
The type of faith God values is faith that is utterly convinced that God keeps His promises. Faith that looks back and remembers what He has done, faith that stands firm in what He is doing now, and faith that looks ahead with confidence in what He has said He will do. It is the kind of trust that holds to God’s word even when the fulfillment is not yet seen, not yet felt, not yet experienced.

The Kind of Faith that Pleases Him - Part 1
The kind of faith that pleases God is faith that starts with God—faith that depends on His promises and rests in His unchanging nature. It is not blind faith, not mystical faith, not hopeful wishing. It is a clear-eyed trust in the God who speaks, the God who acts, and the God who keeps His word. That’s what we see in the woman from Mark 5. She had suffered for years, exhausted every option, and found no help. But when she heard about Jesus, she didn’t just hope He might heal her—she believed.

The Challenge is Real, but God is Greater
The challenges we face in life are real. They can strengthen our faith or slowly weaken it—but in every moment, God is greater than the challenges before us. He faithfully helps us navigate the temptations and pressures of life so that our response brings honor and glory to Him. As we walk through seasons of difficulty, may we choose to walk by faith. May we hold fast to this truth: though the challenge is real, our God is greater still.

The Questions that Lead Us Back to God
Life’s challenges are never easy, but it’s in those very moments that we are called to trust our loving God, who works with purpose in all He allows. And when hardship presses in, these three questions can help draw our hearts back to Him. Join us as we explore the questions that can lead us back to God.

              Trusting God's Purpose
The Bible shows real people who endured trials yet remained faithful by keeping their eyes on the Lord, and God brought them through. In the same way, our lives will hold both good and difficult days, but God leads us through each one when we keep Him before us. Walking by faith begins with remembering that God may place us in challenging situations for His purposes, and in those seasons of testing we are called to lift our eyes to Him and trust His plan.

                Vision Sunday 2026
Each year, Wilton Bible Church sets aside a special Sunday to cast a vision for the year ahead. We call it Vision Sunday—also known as Theme Sunday—a time when our church family gathers with anticipation and purpose. Join us as we look back at last year’s theme and celebrate how the Lord has worked in our midst. Then together, we’ll look forward with faith, seeking where God is leading us in the coming year. Come ready to reflect, rejoice, and step into the next chapter...

                  Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is more than food and tradition—it’s an invitation to gratitude. Paul writes: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances…” (1 Thess. 5:16–18, ESV) This holiday reminds us that giving thanks isn’t just seasonal—it’s God’s will for our everyday lives. Around the table or in trials, we’re called to live with joy, prayer, and gratitude in Christ.

The Obstacle to a Thankful Heart
Many things in this world can distract us from having a thankful heart. Yet God’s Word calls us to find reasons to give thanks in all circumstances. As we open Scripture together, we’ll discover how gratitude is not dependent on what surrounds us, but on the One who sustains us.

                      He Alone is Faithful
As Psalm 33 draws to a close, we’re reminded of one unshakable truth: the steadfast love of the Lord surrounds those who trust in Him. His love is not momentary; it is faithful, enduring, and deeply personal. In a world full of uncertainty, this psalm invites us to rest in the God who sees our needs and holds our future. We don’t place our hope in strength or strategy, but in the One whose love never fails.
