      Psalm 9:9-10 “The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” This is a time of year that is supposed to be identified with the joy of Christ’s advent. But life is still going on, and not every day is bubbly and happy. I hope you will all join me in praying for those who are sick this season, those who are hurting, who are oppressed, who are lost and lonely. Those who need comfort, and those who need healing. We serve the God of all things, and he will NOT forsake those who seek him. If there is any comfort to my heart it is knowing that he is available to my seeking soul.

            Just wanted to say thank you all for helping out tonight. These little things couldn’t be done without you guys. Congrats to Carter on the chili win, Jabes for the hotdog victory, and Brittany for some of the best cider I’ve ever had. We have such an amazing family, and I’m so overwhelmed by everyone’s willingness to help. Love you all.
