A few years ago, I listened as people I knew began quoting from the Passions Translation. I'm a senior citizen, and with age have learned to listen carefully when I hear something new. Just because something is the new 'In" thing, doesn't mean it is from God. For the purpose of Bible study and translation comparisons, I purchased a copy of TPT New Testament. Now, I find this translation growing on me every time I open it. Yesterday, as I read Mark 4:21-25, the words of Jesus became very personal to me in a way they never did before using other translations. Today, I want to purchase the TPT Psalms and look forward to hearing what God will say.
