• I was really disappointed in this class. It claimed to be a class to develop the inner life of ministry leaders, but offered very little Scripture in comparison to the volume of catch-phrases, buzzwords, and secular models and strategies. The sad part is, when the instructor did include Scripture, he explained and applied it well. Sadly, many of the recommended books and influences of the curriculum were disqualified from ministry or have left an orthodox view of salvation by grace, through faith in Christ alone. God gave us the ultimate book on leadership, integrity and discipline; please, use His Word more.
    1. There are some excellent thoughts and the reading assignments were excellent. However, I found the teacher's delivery rather hypnotic and it made for difficult listening. Also, some of the quiz/midterm questions reflect lectures that follow the quiz. Could just be a personality thing, but I can only give it a marginal review.
      1. I'm taking this course as a review and some concern. First, the pronunciation used by teacher may be correct, but it is so different from the norm, it may prove to be very frustrating for anyone with previous Koine Greek instruction. My larger concern is with several inconsistencies in pronunciations and inaccuracies in lectures and exercises. For instance, I just watched a video on First and second declensions and a noun that was clearly plural was translated as singular and an article that could have been nominative or accusative was identified as only one option (it was a stand-alone entry so there was no context to clearly assign a case). I wanted to love and recommend the course, but I cannot. While I think there is still some good knowledge to be gained, the inaccuracies prevent me from giving a positive review.
        1. Very helpful! Thanks for sharing your observations.
