It's missing the most-preached sermon ever: St. John Chrysostom's Paschal Homily. Yes, I know. Popularity doesn't equal greatness, but the sermon is pretty great.

I guess I would have to question how informed Mr. Howell is after reading "only Catholics believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist." This is simply not true.

Payton shows that he can explain someone else's theological positions in a way that this someone will say, "Yes, that's what I believe." Unlike many who write about someone else's theology, he avoids outright misrepresentation or the all-too-frequent straw-man argument.

Very useful. Unfortunately, the discussion of the canon completely ignores the Orthodox Church and oversimplifies the history of the Jewish canon thus misleading readers into thinking that Catholics added to the canon, an assertion which is patently false.

I like this resource, but twice a year, I write Logos to point out one glaring error: The church near the Lydia baptistery is Orthodox not Catholic. 1. It's in Greece. 2. I've been there. I live near the place. It's Orthodox. Logos can't make a simple change to their product. They don't even seem to care when I contact them. I wonder what other glaring errors they keep nursing along in their products.

Anything by Fr. McGuckin is well worth it. His works are honest and thorough. I can't wait for this to be available on Logos.

This set should be part of Orthodox Gold (the highest-level Orthodox set available). It is not, unfortunately. What is worse is that it used to be. Thankfully, I got it through Olive Tree on sale for $99.

Several times over the past year, I've alerted Faithlife (by email, chat, and even one phone call) to an error in one of their graphics. The church located at the site of where Saint Lydia was baptized (as the first baptized in Europe) is erroneously described as a Roman Catholic chapel. From the picture, it is clearly Orthodox, it's located in Greece, and I've been there. It's definitely Orthodox. How hard can it be to update this resource? Apparently, it must be very difficult to change "Roman Catholic" to "Orthodox," or they simply don't care.

It's now been a year and a half since I alerted Logos to the error in this resource. Still not corrected. Hmmm. I guess accuracy is not important to Logos. Sad.
