• I'm beginning to realize LOGOS Bible software has diversified itself so much that they have to think of ways to increase cost to feed the vast growth that has occurred in trying to develop a viable (cost wise anyway) and affordable product. Sure there are packages available that supposedly save money . Like many have noted however, those packages many/most times contain bloatware/things not used-ever. Then LOGOS claims features that stand above the competition. I say that there are many times ways around those features with other products, and ways around that are worth the steps necessary to get needed results. Then there is the 'manual' subject. Absolutely should not cost extra for a product manual. That cost should be included in the cost of any one of the available packages. It does seem I'm going to have to go to an affordable Bible Software package and I don't think it's going to be LOGOS Bible Software. Many reasons for that - those above listed and several more including my place in life, retirement budget. I have tried LOGOS for several months now, and I feel it it is time to try another entirely different product for many reasons as stated.
    1. I'm looking more for a study series including commentaries, word and language studies, culture studies for era from Adam forward to Jesus, archaeology, geography/mapping................. This group really doesn't cover my needs.
