Alex Dolin was born and raised in Charleston, WV. He currently lives in Lancaster, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys playing music. He plays guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo and drums. Alex also enjoys exercising and baking as and in his free time, Alex volunteers with Kiaros prison ministry and at his church. Alex will tell you that he has not lived a boring life. His life is an open book, Alex candidly shares her life's experiences of shame, pain, fear and transformation, all in an effort to demonstrate that it's not what happens to you...but rather how you choose to respond to life that truly matters. Though Alex is young, he has experienced divorce, death, disease and depression. He has had ups and downs in life and through it all, he has found strength and healing in the Lord Jesus Christ. As a professional, Alex is a certified Life Coach with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Alex is finishing up his Master's in Professional Counseling with Liberty University. Upon completion of this degree and his internship, Alex will become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. Alex is an ordained and licensed minister with the Free Will Baptist, a blogger and recorded artist. Connecting through Skype, telephone, or in-person sessions, his emphasis is on helping clients discover the divine source of healing. Alex desires to help clients find hope, love and growth. Alex wants to see you get results in life. Through effective and accountable sessions, Alex has mastered powerful techniques from Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused techniques. The goal is to help the client get out of the rut and into growth and success. The process begins with helping the client to identify, clarify and realize the changes they wish to make. Through a sorting out and narrowing down method, a simple and natural clarity of action emerges. Once on track, the individual easily realizes the desired changes.
