• Great book. I found it a challenging and technical read but with much promise for enabling us to both engage with the contemporary neurosciences and to reaffirm our traditional creedal statement about the resurrection of the body. Sadly this Logos edition is highly priced at NZD$36. (I know Logos will wax eloquent about the advantages of the Logos edition, but isn't that why we bought the software in the first place? We shouldn't need to pay for the benefits of Logos with every new book we buy). On Book Depository buy paperback for NZD$27.44 and on Kindle for NZD$14.
    1. Logos 5 is a powerful Bible study tool. In fact it has more power under the hood than most of us will need. Gold comes with some excellent commentaries - though a few options would have been good in terms of which commentary series to choose. There are several disappointments with Logos and I am therefore deducting one star for each of these. Until Logos actually sharpen up their act in these areas the product will continue to suffer in my estimate. 1. The need to pay for upgrades to Commentary sets that were part of the overall package. I understand that further paid upgrades would be required if and when Logos develop 6. Considering the the cost of the initial package and the fact that loyal customers continue buying products from Logos I believe better post-purchase support would be expected. 2. There is no operational manual. What other product retailing for over $1600 would require the purchaser to actually buy the manual? This would be shameful from any company, but a Christian company should certainly have a better business ethic. 3. Their aggressive post-sale advertising. I hope Logos reassess their business ethic then their product would be one I would happily endorse. Rev Andrew McDonald
