Dr. Antonio Marquez Alfred is a native of Ville Platte, Louisiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps and later moved to California in 1985-1989 with an honorable discharge. He has obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems at California State University in Los Angeles and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Worked for over 19 years at the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Dr. Alfred began his ministry in the area of youth counseling and computer course instructor. He has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Audio Technician, and Associate-Clergy. He specializes in the area of marriage counseling and is a board member of the International Association of Biblical Counselors as well a certified as the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He serves as the senior pastor of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church and the Director of the Biblical Counseling Ministry. Dr. Alfred is a graduate of Trinity College and Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, with a Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Counseling as well as a PhD from Trinity. Dr. Alfred has been happily married for more than 25 years and has been blessed with four lovely children.
