God is in control. Only He decides how a person can be saved. He has chosen one way: Faith in Jesus.

For those with abiding faith in Jesus, victory is assured through the love of God for us.

How can good come out of bad things in life? God can bring good, but it is good as He defines it.

Life can be tough, but God offers hope and help to bring us through victorious.

The Holy Spirit dwells in all Christians starting at salvation to conform us to Jesus, and separately fills all who receive to empower for witness and ministry.

A holy life is possible and necessary for a Christian but only by yielding to the Holy Spirit who dwells in every follower of Jesus.

How can we win victory over sin? In Romans 6, we learned what we must do. But we cannot do it by ourselves. We must continually trust in Jesus and follow the Holy Spirit who dwells in every Christian.

Just as the marriage covenant is ended by death, our identifying with the death of Christ by faith ends all reliance on the law covenant as the basis of fellowship with God.

We are all slaves either to sin or to God. Our choice is whether we will trust in Jesus to be freed from sin to serve Him as Lord.

We can overcome sin by God's grace. Our part is to know and believe what Jesus has done for and in us, think of ourselves as dead to sin and alive to God, and choose to yield ourselves to God and not to sin.
