Hello Fellow Baptist!! I'm rather new to faithlife and not sure what your group is about.
        1. Andrew Biddinger 7 years ago

I don't think this group is used very much. Patrick Labriola I think it's just been used for defining your tradition. But, you can bring it to life by posting to it! The Faithlife Free Books has quite a bit activity among others https://faithlife.com/free-books/activity

          Angels
Angels, here, is said to have carried the poor man into Abraham's bosom. So we can assume that Angels carry us to our eternal destination after death.

I just really saw this for the first time this morning. It makes me re-evaluate my understanding. It doesn't say he was buried, like the rich man. He was carried off. We don't see dead Christians being carried somewhere.

          Angels as Messengers
Angels are considered here messengers of the wind. They are spirits mostly unless they take the form of a man. This is rarely done. Angels are also counted as flaming fire here.

            Angels innumerable
The Angels are attributed a number here, but the number is just used to show that no one can count God's angels.

            Psalm 68:16The Lexham English Bible
Why do you look with hostility, O many-peaked mountains? This mountain God desires for his dwelling. Yes, Yahweh will abide in it forever.
