There are actually two free books from Calvins Commentaries this month ...

The English commentaries of Calvin are also available on Logos, but (currently) not as Free Book of the Month.

Jeannette, Logos will translate it for you, in the upper right tool bar when you open you should see what looks like a book (2 panels) click on that and it should offer you a translation option. If I remember correctly how I did it.

The FREE Spanish book was posted below: https://faithlife.com/posts/6101871

Here is also the Verbum FREE book of the month for July: "Saint Augustine: Letters: vol. VI (1*–29*)" by Augustine of Hippo
Saint Augustine: Letters: vol. VI (1*–29*)
Most of the works of St. Augustine of Hippo (354–430) have been extant and studied for centuries by Christians throughout the world. Since this Doctor of the Western Church has long been the best known and most widely read of the Latin Fathers, it is so much more unexpected that a previously unknown work should be found. Johannes Divjak found not only a single work but in fact a whole collection of letters, which he published in a critical Latin edition in 1980. This volume contains the first English translation of these newly discovered letters. The letters range in size from short memoranda to long treatises on various subjects. In addition, there are three other previously unknown letters: two written to Augustine by Consentius, a North African rhetorician, and one written by Saint Jerome to Aurelius of Carthage.

The second Logos FREE book of the month has arrived, and the first one is gone: "Puzzling Passages in Paul: Forty Conundrums Calmly Considered" by Anthony Thiselton
Puzzling Passages in Paul: Forty Conundrums Calmly Considered
Few Christian writings have had the world-changing impact of St Paul’s epistles to the churches, and yet from the very beginning these works proved themselves to be tricky texts. The Second Letter of Peter, commenting about them, says: “There are some things in them that are hard to understand” (2 Pet 3:16). Indeed! To this day many issues of their interpretation remain highly contested. In this book, Anthony Thiselton grasps the nettle and examines forty puzzling passages from Paul’s epistles. He considers the various scholarly proposals about their meaning and offers his own reflections in the hope of dispersing fog and shedding light, and of expounding a coherent and self-consistent Paul.
