Some free books are offered for short periods of time, and some are even accidentally listed for short times. I guess some may only be available in certain regions. Here are a few searches you can try every so often to look for free offers. They should present resources you don't already own and should be available in your region, but you can also adjust the options in the left column. Most importantly is the search for a 0.00 price. 1) https://general.ebooks.faithlife.com/search?query=price%3A0.00&sortBy=Relevance&limit=60&page=1&filters=status-live_Status&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=all&useFuzzySearch=false&viewMode=list 2) https://ebooks.faithlife.com/search?query=price%3A0.00&sortBy=Relevance&limit=60&page=1&filters=status-live_Status&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&useFuzzySearch=false&viewMode=grid 3) https://www.logos.com/search?query=price%3A0.00&sortBy=Relevance&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&useFuzzySearch=false&viewMode=grid

This new 2025 book is being offered free by Faithlife/Logos right now. It's by a lesbian author sharing her journey from Christianity into her current Eastern beliefs. As such I'm not sure why Faithlife is offering it, though they have other works by this author. I post it because it's free, but direct any comments to Faithlife, not here. This is not the forum for debate. "The Empty Bowl: Pursuing Truth in a Messy World" by Rikki West
The Empty Bowl: Pursuing Truth in a Messy World
<b xmlns=”http://ns.editeur.org/onix/3.0/reference">Perfect for readers who seek understanding of how they fit into the universe, Rikki West’s vibrant memoir follows her journey of confronting hidden assumptions and childhood trauma on the way to finding her life’s vibrant, living truth. At seven, Rikki West begs a mysterious God for help, praying that her drunk father won’t harm their family and that he won’t be sent to hell. But when nothing seems to happen, she worries: Is anyone up there really listening? This question triggers a lifelong search for the great, loving being she imagines her prayers might reach. Delving into Catholicism, psychedelics, transcendental meditation, yoga, AA and Buddhist chanting, she explores every available path. She studies genetic science at UC Berkeley and humanities at San Francisco State, combing through the knowledge they offer for answers to the big questions. A single lesbian mom, Rikki soars in her Silicon Valley career until the dot-com…

The Logos second FREE book of the month (replacing "Imminent Domain") is available: "The Path of Life: Blessedness in Seasons of Lament" by J. Stephen Yuille
The Path of Life: Blessedness in Seasons of Lament
Psalm 119 is noted for its call to delight in the word of God. But we must not fail to realize that this great psalm is also infused with great lament. In The Path of Life, J. Stephen Yuille follows the psalmist through his many ups and downs in order to see how he gives voice to the song in our soul. Here is comfort for bearing sorrow, strength for enduring difficulty, trust for facing uncertainty, and peace for overcoming anxiety. Even in his extremity, the psalmist finds joy in the blessed God. This is how Jesus persevered through trials and endured the cross. And in Christ, you too can take up this psalm, follow the path of life, and find blessedness in your seasons of lament.

Another FREE book: "The New Revelation" by Arthur Conan Doyle
      The New Revelation
This treatise is a summation of Doyle’s research and views, from his first forays into Spiritualism through mediums, seances, and his membership in the Psychical Research Society. He explores communication through automatic writing dictated by the dead, trance utterances, and direct voices. Also included are chapters on what has been proven to happen after death and the underpinnings of psychic law in Christianity. Doyle concludes with the assertion that divine sources have given to us a new revelation which alters the whole aspect of death and the fate of humanity. And it is not a revelation to be ignored.

“Follow Me”: A History of Christian Intentionality
From the very beginning there have been Christians who wanted to go all the way—who, rather than asking, “What must I do to be a Christian?” asked instead, “What can I do to be more Christian?” These highly intentional Christians have had an impact on the development of both Christianity and Western civilization that has been completely out of proportion to their numbers.

Imminent Domain: The Story of the Kingdom of God and Its Celebration
What is the kingdom of God? Where is it? How should the church celebrate the coming of the kingdom? In this popular level study Ben Witherington addresses these and various other questions about the ever-elusive kingdom of God. Clearly defining the kingdom in terms of God’s dominion, Witherington discusses both its present (“already”) and future (“not yet”) dimensions, and he brings out at length the implications of kingdom thinking for theology, ethics, and worship. Filled with practical wisdom on the kingdom of God and how to celebrate it faithfully, Imminent Domain consists of six short chapters, each of which ends with several questions for reflection and discussion, making the book ideal for church classes and study groups.
