    1. Nonsense! Don't avoid this one. The wisdom from this book is Bible-based and provides something desperately lacking in the modern mind regarding child training-- the rod of correction. Psychologically based parenting should have no place in the Christian family. The rod should be used when needed, and to withhold it is working against God's will for a child. Read the book and apply the principles. You'll be blessed you did.
