My primary preaching bible/translation. It is beautiful, linguistically speaking. Yet, it is faithful to the Hebrew and Greek texts. It is a joy to see that this translation goes far beyond the known changes of Yahweh in the OT and slave in the NT. It is not perfect, but it is a treasure for sermon prep or deeper Bible study.
