    You've been invited to this group to help BFA with the "front Porch Prayers" event taking place May 19 through 21. Use this page to ask questions, share testimonies, and get details on how you can help with this outreach evet! The idea is that we will have organized teams with church members and adherents assigned to that group. BFA pastors, leaders, deacons, and members going out into the community and fellowshipping with those connected to our church. Think "visitation" on an entire church scale. You will get your list of families/individuals in the weeks leading up to the event along with their addresses. On Thursday, May 26th, pick up your gift baskets at the church office and then go fellowship with all the people on your list over the course of the 3 days of the ministry event (Thursday, Friday, & Saturday). If they are not there, leave them a note (and the gift basket) so they know you were! If you have any questions on how to talk to people, when to go in, or anything else, post those questions here! Look for a meeting date sometime in May to distribute lists and go over details in person.

  • Important announcement: We have decided to postpone this ministry event, once again, due to general business within the community with regards to various things taking place around the Bolivar area such as Missouri Beef Days taking place in Polk County this weekend and other end of school events such as sports and gradations. The new ministry dates will be as follows: -Wed. July 20, 8 PM assignment meeting. -Thurs. July 21, 6 PM Group Prayer & Send Out -Thurs. July 21-23, at team convenience perform the ministry activities by visiting each house on your list, giving them cookies, prayer, & general lovingkindness. Please check your calendar and respond directly to Zach with whether or not you can assist with this ministry weekend. Thank you for all each of you do to support the Lord's Church here in our community and we apologize for any inconvenience this shift may cause, hoping, instead, to allow this ministry to take place at a time when it will be most effective.

    1. This week is the week! Idk about you but i am excited about this weekend and expecting a great move of God as we take time to touch His children throughout our church community. Wednesday night, immediately following service, we will have a brief (20 minutes) meeting to go over the plan for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Beginning Wednesday, everyone's "GO BOX" will be ready and available in the fellowship hall. Included in the box will be each team's list of families to visit, cookie bags for each house, and various stationary items to use depending on whether or not the family is home at the time of visit. Please only grab your box Wednesday if you are unable to attend on Thursday. Thursday, we will be meeting at the church at 6 PM prior to the "send out" where we will pray together regarding this ministry.
