- Not much better than version 7 so not worth the extra cost. It doesn’t live up to the hype about it. Also, I find it very slow loading and opening things. This is not my computer issue as it is a fast machine with plenty of RAM (16GB). It is just as slow on my laptop (Surface book 2 pro) and my other computer. I would have hope there would be some integration with MS Word or PowerPoint and better system of bookmarks when reading a book.
- Hey Charlie, I don't work for Logos and I'm not even an expert with the software but I just wanted to point out, you can upgrade to Logos 8 for free with the basic package and still keep all your existing stuff and features. Logos 8 has a much better interface in my opinion and I love it already (only had it for 24 hrs). The price increases really are for certain new features and more resources. If you don't feel you need them, then just download the Basic Logos 8 and it will map all your existing features and resources across.
