I agree Chuck... I've heavily invested in my Logos resources and am very discouraged about this monthly subscription deal.

For all the people that are dissing Logos Now, how many of you have actually tried all the new features that are included in the subscription? I was sceptical at first but now use the Now features as if they were part of the original software. If you don't want all the new features "NOW", don't subscribe. Wait another 10 months or so and upgrade to Logos 7. For the rest of us that are subscribing, we have access to resources that are tremendously powerful but not in the original software. Are you expecting Logos to give you all this for free? We already get LOTS of books for free every month that cost the company to produce. Let's try to be fair. Nobody is forcing anyone to subscribe and the added capability was not part of the original software that you purchased. Think about it!!

Benjamin: I don't have cable or even a home phone line, nor a big new TV. You might be transferring here onto other people. Some of us that don't like this are being 100% consistent. Michael: many of us don't want the new tools that we'll be forced to upgrade to. Logos is different than most programs in that they have asked us to trust them in pouring thousands of dollars into their software with the trust that they won't price us out of our investment in order to keep it. Some of us are feeling cheated because we want to keep our libraries, but don't really want to upgrade to all the increasing capabilities that are not necessary in most exegetical applications. We all use these programs differently, and some of us feel Logos is treating all of us like Biblical Studies scholars rather than ministry end users that want to take our library with us to Starbucks, or India, etc. It's fine for you to hold your opinion, but that doesn't make our false or unreasonable. Logos is forcing upgrades. Logos NOW is telling those of us that are voicing our opinion that Logos going the opposite direction we want them to for our needs.
