• It's been a while since I've visited LOGOS but I am very happy to see this project is almost funded! Praise the Lord! AND I agree with what's been said here, as someone who preordered this on January 30, 2017, PLEASE DIGITIZE THE 2017 Shinkaiyaku. By the way, for those who don't already know, you can purchase and have access to the 2017 Shinkaiyaku through Accordance Bible software. I rely on it heavily, but there is no furigana. Some years ago, I did purchase a Japanese digital interlinear-greek translation offered through Libronix (which is now LOGOS), so that's a part of the library, but that's the Shin Kyoudou Yaku (the Interconfessional Translation).
    1. This is absolutely a needed resource for mission in Japan. I've been living and working in Sendai for almost 10 years. As reflected in prior comments, the Japanese people need to hear the good news more and more. I do have a Libronix Japanese bible that I bought here in Japan, but it is only the New Testament and it is the only the Japanese Interconfessional translation (Shinkyoudou Yaku). Some of the Japanese churches I've been to, especially up north here in Tohoku area use the Shinkaiyaku. I do have the bilingual NIV/Shinkaiyaku; but a LOGOS version would effectively become a huge resource for me (it could essentially serve as a bilingual bible (paired with the English translation of preference); especially combined with reading plans, I could read the bible in Japanese on my iPad everyday. (LOGOS is awesome for reading plans!) But Gary is right, I don't think this project will gather enough interest simply because the number of people who need it is not a huge community. But for the glory of God and the joy of all peoples, this resource surely needs to be made. Please make this.
      1. We just got back from our trip to see my wife's family in Sendai. Would love to meet someone sharing the Gospel in Sendai the next time we visit! :)
      2. There are fellow workers here, my friend.
      3. I'm also in Sendai! What are the chances of that? Haha. But seriously, still no update on this translation..
