• Some of you may already know this but I figured I would update and ask for prayer. About a week ago I had a heat related episode. I attributed it to lack of conditioning/not being used to being in the heat. As the week progressed I had a lot of fatigue and started developing chest pain. I went to urgent care yesterday evening and my blood pressure was 173/133. They wanted me to go to the emergency room where they did and EKG, x-rays, and blood work. Everything came back normal and my blood pressure came down some but was still considered high. The chest pain remains as well. They told me to start taking baby aspirin and documenting my blood pressure a few times a day. They are scheduling a stress test this week and depending on what that shows may do a heart cath. Pray I feel better. Sometimes it isn’t bad, but sometimes it is concerning. I appreciate the people that have reached out already. Love you guys.

    1. I work with a lady who’s husband is involved with a church in Minford and the youth Christian stuff at Shawnee State. His name is Jamie Riley. He is having detached retina surgery tomorrow. He has had the procedure before on the other eye and he woke up during the process. This makes doing it again more traumatic for him obviously. They are top notch people. I told them they would be in our prayers.

      1. Be in prayer for my student, Bryce. He was sent to Children's last night and is in pretty rough shape. He’s diabetic and is not handling an infection well.

        1. Please say a prayer for my brother’s grandmother. She is 80 and had to have emergency surgery this morning for a perforated bowel. I think the surgery went better than expected, but she has a several day recovery and infection can happen super easy with that stuff.
