The illustrations are extremely basic - pretty much just icons in a graph-like presentation. There is a single illustration for each book and then a brief book summary. If the illustrations are the only thing that sets this book apart from other outlines of the books of the Bible, I would not consider this to be a tremendous help. I may also have the bar set too high, having followed the illustrations from the Bible Project for years. Their graphics are out of sight!
