This collection helped me immensely in understanding my own faith journey, particularly in the intentional ordering of the sermons according to the ordo salutis. The introduction was incredibly helpful in situating the sermons within the context of John Wesley's ministry and the Methodist movement. And at a fundamental level, it was just delightful to be guided by a wonderful spiritual father, John Wesley.
