Absolutely fantastic! Someone mentioned in a podcast that this book is a "must read" for anyone wanting to teach or preach from Acts, and I agree. This is obviously not a commentary even though it deals quite thoroughly with chapters 1-7. But it is a great overview of Acts and provides a framework for us to understand all the other finer details. It certainly seems that understanding this framework will save us from misinterpreting verses or even sections as well as misunderstanding the purpose of the book as a whole. One of my favourite things about the book is how much is made of Jesus! Acts, from my little experience, is often used to push lots of other things and Jesus is left by the wayside. Not so with this book, praise God!
