
David Krueger is the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Linn, Missouri. He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, growing up in north county and graduating from Hazelwood High School. He is married to Linda who is a retired Choral Music Teacher.
David was raised in the Catholic faith. He was born-again when he was eighteen years old and was baptized into the Calvary Baptist Church, Jennings, MO. He felt called to the Gospel ministry one year later and was licenced to preach by Calvary Baptist. He was ordained to the Gospel Ministry at Flat Creek Baptist Church, Sedalia, Missouri on August 28, 1977.
David is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University with a B.A. in Religion (1977). He received his M.A. in Speech Communication from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, (1988). He is listed in the 1991 edition of Marquis’ Who's Who in American Religion.
David has pastored churches in Sedalia, Missouri (Flat Creek Baptist 1977-82), and Adrian, Missouri (1st Baptist 1982-88). In August 2013 he celebrated his 25th anniversary as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Linn.
David has been active in MBC life 20 years. He served on the Board of Trustees for Hannibal LaGrange Baptist University, Hannibal, Missouri (1993-2003), and was board chairman for two years. He served on the Committee for Continuing Review for three years. In 2006 he began serving on the MBC Christian Life Commission, serving two terms. He rotated off in 2011. He was the initial webmaster for The Pathway, the Newsjournal of the Missouri Baptist Convention for two years. He just recently conclude a two-year term as Recording Secretary for the Missouri Baptist Convention.
