- I'm amazed that this precious little book should have been sold for less than a dollar! It's truly a gem. The writer was the minister at the Moody Church in Chicago, following Harry Ironside, so he's no lightweight. I have been so, so blessed by his meditations as he "lingered at Calvary". Anyone who loves the Saviour will assuredly find their hearts set on fire afresh as they "linger" there alongside the author. I just wish there were a thousand stars to award. Best 99 cents I ever spent!
- SUCH a blessing. Beautifully written. John Piper really is a gifted wordsmith. He talks of getting away to the countryside to be alone with God and to meditate and write. You can really feel the fresh air, the glory of God in -Creation and the intimacy with the Lord that he enjoys. I wish there were 10 stars to award.
- Great message Brother, Blessings
- I absolutely love this book. It's beautifully written and superbly illustrated. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. However the Logos edition urgently & desperately needs a proof-reader. It's packed full of typos and missing words. As I read a portion every morning I reported them every morning to Logos and hope someone reads those reports and corrects the defects. Such a wonderful book deserves to be polished so it can shine as it deserves to.
