- I have been a Logos user since the days when it was on floppy disks and before it became Libronix . . . in other words, several decades. I have a Logos library of over 15,000 volumes. I teach a course on it and present workshops for pastors about how to use it. I believe in Logos and the family behind the vision. It is powerful, creative, rich, and dynamic. Personally, I am finding v. 8 a little more clunky at this point. Each day I load it up in the morning, it seems to go into a library indexing routine. It seems to take longer to add a resource to the library and build the revised index. The evolution of the sermon builder continues to strengthen its functionality. However, I have not yet discovered a practical application for the Canvas feature (maybe it is my own self-limitation). The opening screen seems less helpful and more promotional. However, do not fear -- I am not giving up or walking away as a faithful and long-standing Logos user. I believe the Logos team even now is hard at work to debug, recover some of the best of the former Logos 7 functionality/features/design, and will introduce even more powerful features in the near future. Thanks for the hard work and the commitment to help us in Kingdom work.
