- The NET Bible and Notes are an invaluable tool for launching textual analysis. I am disappointed that this second edition does not have the notes file separate as we do in the first edition. Having the notes file separate, allows one to set up a layout with the notes, along with other critical resources. I hope that this can be offered in the future.
- Hey Donavan, I'm not sure if this may help you, but my work-around for this issue is to use the Power Lookup tool. I open that in a window next to the NET Bible and then link those to the the same set (eg Link set 'A'). Then make sure that any other resources are not linked to set 'A'. This means that my NET Bible and Power Lookup and linked as a unique set. You will see in the attached image I have GNT and ESV open on the left of my screen, and on the right of my screen I have NET Bible and Power Tool (this displays only note/references from the NET Bible windows as these two are linked as the same set.) I hope this helps you.
- If you have a lot of really good resources in addition to a base collection (ICC, Anchor Bible Dictionary, IVP Dictionaries), this is a good resource, but at a price. I also think the price point volume wise is a bit prohibitive particularly if you would like to buy the entire series which may eventually cover the entire Bible.
