Typical of Tubingen scholars for at least the past 150 years or so, mainly of value to the church for exegetical analysis and refutation (being theological grains of sand to produce pearls of Christian theology).

He has become one of my favorite theologians, the Heidelberg Catechism of 1563 mostly a product of his. A sharp, well-informed, incisive theological mind.

I've known about professor Robertson since my days in seminary (he is one of the SBC's most respected NT Greek scholars), but until starting to read this did not really know of his penetrating, highly quotable wit and solid grounding in the Christian faith. Happily my package already includes his 15 volume collection, this title included. Looks like it will be well-worth reading & highlighting, even for a (now) fully reformed-leaning guy like myself as I try to find & read only the very best of pious, believing Bible scholars & theologians. Soli Deo gloria
