- Logos pulled a bait-&-switch on this one. NRSVue was included in Full Feature package when I looked at the original list, but after purchasing it wasn’t in my library. Now it’s not in the list and has to be purchased separately. I don’t know what else I lost that Logos advertised but removed, and I wish I hadn’t made the purchase. Hard to trust these folks, especially when the prices go up and the quality goes down.
- I don't know what happened to you but I have been disappointed by this in the past as well. In Logos' defense you do have to read the fine print. the asterisk* means that is not available yet. I also noticed above that the NRSVue interlinear tools are included but not the Bible. What that means practically is that you have the data & tool to interpret the NRSVue but you don't have the core text. I've had this happen with me when I bought the interlinears separate from the text. Logos really should consider not selling their interlinears separately because they are useless without what they are 'interlinearizing' and leads to bad feelings.
- I can confirm that the NRSVue has not been removed from the full feature set or from other Logos 10 collections. The product description shows that it incudes the NRSVue reverse interlinear, but currently has an asterisk next to this itme, because it is not available yet. It will automatically download for owners of this product once it becomes available. However, the reverse interlinear is a separate item from the NRSVue translation itself. I know it can seem strange that we often include the reverse interlinear in a product without including the translation itself. Many users actually experience this as a pleasant surprise, they purchase a product and find that all of a sudden one of their favorite Bible translations has been enhanced with original language information. Although many users find reverse interlinears useful, there are also some users who simply want the straightforward text of the Bible translation without any additional enhancement. That is another reason why we tend to bundle reverse interlinears into products that include tools for original language study. Product reviews like this are not the ideal place for discussing company policy, although I appreciate that your experience of this product can be very much affected by company policy. - 1.5* Almost deleted it after the first chapter, but continued to the end. Less than a handful of moments worth considering, but cannot recommend wasting time reading to find them and cannot imagine anyone purchasing it on its own (my copy, along with many other "garbage resources for padding," was included in a Logos package).
