- I agree with what everyone is saying about the User Manual, these should be included with the product. I have spent more money than I should have on software, and am constantly offered more resources, that I do not want or need. I have decided there are only a few more resources that I want, when they are on special I will consider spending more money, but there is no bottomless pit of money. I too would question recommending Logos to others for this very reason; they don't seem to care about their existing customers. I have been using Logos for years and still have only a basic knowledge of all the features of logos; even after watching many training videos and the MP Logos 6 Training Manuals. I was considering buying the MP Training Manuals Logos 7, but where does it end? Next they will bring out Logos 8 and want you to spend more money. The truth is NEVER popular. This company clearly demonstrates that they are are DOLLAR DRIVEN and NOT CHRIST DRIVEN.
- Several years ago I felt the same way but I found another source with LearnLogos that really helped me learn how to use the software much more than just keying in the scripture in passage guide and letting it do all the work which made me lazy. I have to admit that Logos has stepped up their game with all the new videos they produce now with Logos Pros and they have really helped me and others a lot.; especially the Jonah course which was outstanding. I get quite of bit of training also in the Faithlife groups I'm a member of and on the homepage. But I have experienced your frustrations too.
- @Joe Griffin; thx for that hot "LearnLogos*com" tip!!! i studied several times the course "MP Seminars: Logos 6 Academic Training" ... but iam really frustrated! i spend ours and learned just the basics. morris proctor seems to be definitely a nice guy... but i don't learn much from him or his course. "LearnLogos*com" is a lot more practicable and its cheaper!!! this guy is really working and studying with logos and i can learn a lot from him. thx thx thx for that tip! greetings
- One thing I have noticed about Logos is that some of the symbols are hard to see. They are very faint. Even the scrolling device at the right hand side is very difficult to see. Can something be done about it.
- Call or contact the pros at Logos - Faith Life. They strive to make you completely happy !!!
- Hi Eddie, If you are talking about the actual software, you can change the program scaling and font size in the software to increase visibility. You can access it by going to the Tools menu, selecting Program Settings, and changing Program Scaling to 140% and the Default Resource Text Size to 120%. That may help. If you are talking about increasing the size in the videos, we aren't able to fix that after we've made the videos. You could use full screen mode when you watch the videos.
