This work by Alexander Strauch is a must read for anyone who desires to understand Biblical Eldership. I highly recommend it for churches who are forming, or for ministries that are reconstructing their Eldership and desire to do so in accordance with what the Word of God declares on the subject. All of the Elders at our church have read this work and we've been blessed as a local body to have really dug into it together and compared what it says with Scripture.
