The paper back version on this product is really good. Logos did a bad job implementing this into its software and for this reason I cannot recommend you buy it. You ONLY NEED THE NOTES. This should NOT be offered with the ESV bible as most packages of logos already comes with the ESV version. THE ESV Study Bible is nothing more than commentary notes with links to the actual bible passage. This means several things, 1) You cannot highlight like you would a normal bible. 2) you cannot use this functionally in anyway on a mobile or tablet device as you have to have multiple windows open for the actual bible, and 3) you do not need to buy the package deal. In fact, I do not think that if you owned the ESV bible you could actually open another resource tab. With that said, I wish I could get a refund. It was implemented horribly. I would very much prefer 1 resource tab for the book with everything on one tab. Buyer needs to be aware that these are just notes with resource links and that is all. you are better off getting the paper back version if you do reading on the go or away from a PC or laptop.
