• A reminder we are hosting the Osterbrock’s this Sunday. After church Aleesha and I are hosting a meal for them before they head to the next stop. If you want to join us for the meal please let me know and if you can provide any of the following: a dessert, crockpot of soup, bread for about 15 people. If you cannot make it or bring something that is okay.

    1. I received clarification from Jeff concerning Abc-Ohio giving for 2019. The correct amount is found in the “Other” column, $6,751.08. The amounts in the ABC-Ohio column reflect targeted giving for the region made by people in our church. I hope this helps, I know it does me! (Jeff mentioned he changed how he reported it mid-year, which is reflected in the reports for quarter 2 & 3, I just didn’t see the change). Thanks for all you do to help us engage in missions.

      1. Reminder we have a meeting Sunday immediate after worship. Tasks include picking a chair, a Budget & Finance representative, brainstorm people to fill the one vacancy on board and discussion 2020 missions budget and plans.

        1. We will have a quick meeting Sunday December 22 right after worship to talk about Caring Kitchen for January as well as set a January meeting date. Thank you! I know this is a short notice but realized we did not have anything down for a meal in January at Caring Kitchen.

          1. Hey all I need input and a decision. Sycamore House has approached us to sponsor a table for them, $300. I was curious if this would be okay to take the remainder of our support, $100, and add $200 to sponsor the table or what you think may be best. Their Banquet is October 8 and if anyone would like to be present I will reserve your spot at the table. If some from the group want to help sponsor the table let’s do that as well. Give some feedback. I think we need to plan on meeting on September 8 if possible after church.

                  1. Good morning, I wanted to followup on a couple of items left over from the meeting. First, yes, the Caring Kitchen does have a griddle so grilled cheese should not be a problem. Second, they are very appreciative that we have decided to budget $300 next year to help meet their needs. They do not have a preference to how the money is distributed, one time or monthly, whatever works for our church is fine. We can probably followup on this at our next meeting. I also told them about our (new)sock and underwear collection. Perhaps we should put this in the bulletin, announce in church or post on Faithlife to let the congregation know? We are headed to Iowa this weekend, if anyone would like to mention this, it would be great. Isn't this fun? Ministry and missions, I love it! Have a great day! Jill
