I've never heard of this association. When the labellers are on the loose, I think they usually tag Barth as the seminal voice of neo-orthodoxy. (With the occasional nod to Brunner.) But, let's leave the labels for the time. Barth has much to say, much to pay attention to, much to reflect upon and he writes with a beauty and passion which is delightful to encounter.
