• Just reading the little blurb about this book makes me angry. I can only imagine what would happen if I owned it. Has no one any regard for faith anymore. To be fair and honest I have not read this book, but I have heard many arguments trying to make the bible compatible to science and they are all epic failures. You either believe what the Scripture says or you don't. I see science constantly changing to explain new developments that they find and I do not have to change anything because it is still in keeping with what I believe and what the Bible says. At the end of the day all views on the origin of the universe are THEORIES. I believe in the creation theory and the author appear to believe in the evolutionary theory. Neither are provable from a scientific standpoint because they are not repeatable. Both are taken, at the end of the day, by faith.
    1. I also have to say: Evolution and Creation are NOT compatible. Evolution is a deception of the enemy. It is its own religion (humanism, naturalism.) The propaganda used to advance its hold on our youth has either been disproved (i.e. a LIE) or is used in a misleading way (i.e. a LIE.) There are bible believing christian scientists out there who have done an amazing job interpreting the world we see using the framework of THE INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD. It makes more sense than the lies that are crammed down the throat of our children masquerading as PROVEN FACT when in fact, they can't even justify ONE part of the whole theory!!! I suggest looking into a way to make the interpretation of what we see, hear, taste, touch, and feel fall in line with what God has REVEALED to us in His word. That is the appropriate way to use the mind that He gave us! And give Him the glory, which is THE WHOLE POINT OF EXISTENCE!!!
    2. I decided not to order Creationism and the Conflict over Evolution - until I read the Reviews. Then I knew I had to have it. I don't know what it says, but the reviews reveal the ignorance that is pervasive in Christian circles. My admonition to those reviewers is to READ YOUR BIBLE, and I don't mean just traipsing through your NIV or KJV. You need to read some good Hebrew language scholars and linguists to find out what God is really saying - and not saying in Genesis. I guarantee that it will be the most difficult and boring reading you will do; but it will help free your mind so that you can understand the incredible greatness of our God, and counter the myopic thinking that makes our God look like a dunderhead.
    3. Besides the obvious issues of the unBiblical worldview and the violation of 1 Tim 2:12, consider what her students think of her:
