Read this book my final year in seminary and reread it again. Though first written in 1983 it is just as valid today in the 21st century. Highly recommended!

This is truly Packer's magnum opus..I have read it several times...now I own it on Kindle and have a hard copy and now, even better, thanks to Logos, have an even more useful copy. I think, as a pastor, it should be required reading (besides the Bible). Great stuff about our Sovereign God..and His covenant love for us.... who are so unlovable
