- I own the print version and am reading it with another pastor. We both agree this is the strangest organization for a systematic theology we have ever read. We are half way through it. While the study has been a good review the writing of certain chapters distract from his message. So far he has not broken any new ground or has written anything profound. That said studying this book with another pastor has been a positive experience. The questions at the end of each chapter are nearly worthless but the hymns make for wonderful meditation. The time line of authors has also been helpful. This would be a very good book for someone who has not had formal seminary training.
